I had taken a number of photos today that I would have considered using for my iPhone 365 Project. However, when we returned home from the store about an hour before sunset, the sun light was perfectly beaming across the holiday decorations still firmly attached to the frozen tundra that has become our front yard. The low sun had put a nice warm glow on everything yet the snow still had a blue cast. I thought it was pretty cool so I took this photo.
For what it’s worth, I had intended on removing the decorations shortly after January 1st; however, I had used some large tent stakes to hold them down after a strong wind storm we had in December. As a result, the huge stakes are now frozen to the Earth and I can’t remove them without damaging the stakes nor the lawn decorations.
