Day 14: Ford Field – Home of the Detroit Lions

by Paul Manoian on January 14, 2010

I was heading downtown for a meeting today and accidentally got off at the wrong exit.  It was a building I’ve been to a million times, but I somehow had a brain lapse and ended up taking the wrong exit and thought I would take surface streets the remaining few miles.  I quickly found myself on the wrong side of the highway from where I needed to be. I pulled over to look up the address on my GPS to navigate the one way streets and noticed the sun was beaming off the building I was sitting behind … Ford Field – Home of the Detroit Lions.

I rolled down my window and snapped this shot with my iPhone.  I really love the architectural lines on the building.  This is along the back of the building and is not something most people ever see.  I didn’t see another person for blocks; it almost look abandoned … kinda like the Lions backfield.

Oops!  Did I actually say that? ;)
