Day 20: Benches Along Snow Covered Path

by Paul Manoian on January 20, 2010

Today was other of those dreaded dreary Michigan winter days. There was nothing but flat blue-gray blah light everywhere I looked. To make it worse, the sun was quickly setting.

I stopped by one place on the way home this evening with hopes of capturing something interesting. I hopped out of the car and took a quick walk along a snow covered path and saw these benches. I liked the contrast of the orangish Teak wood against the dull, dark setting of barren trees. A little bit of contrast and cross processing in Photoshop really made the benches pop.

I’m really hoping the sun makes an appearance tomorrow. How about you?
