Day 26: St. John’s Inn and Conference Center

by Paul Manoian on January 26, 2010

I was extremely busy today and only had a chance to take a couple of shots at lunch for today’s iPhone 365 Project post.  The skies were horrible and I really wasn’t satisfied with anything I had taken.  I really thought I might have to “settle” for something.

However, one my way home this evening from a Class of 2011 Senior Model rep head shot session, I drove past The Inn at St. John’s in Plymouth, Michigan.  St. John’s opened its doors in the 1940′s as a seminary.  The property was vacant from 1988 to 1994 when it was reopened as a center for youth and families.  The grand opening of the St. John’s Golf and Conference Center opened in 2000 and 118 luxury guestrooms were added later in 2006.

It had just started snowing so the ground was very wet reflecting much of the light from the building.  I really love the way this photo turned out!
