It was only in the 20′s today, but I still wanted to take an outdoor photo for my iPhone 365 Project post. I wandered around our backyard looking for a hint of motivation.
Even though the snow is (temporarily) gone, the ground is still frozen solid and trees are barren of leaves. It’s always about this time of year when I truly start to yearn for summer. I can’t wait for everything to spring to life again … I know I’ll feel more inspired to photograph when everything is “alive”.
As I looked around, I saw a lone large Oak leaf sitting in the middle of the yard. It was brown, dried out and would certainly crumble if I touched it. Yet, it represented things to come. Soon the skies will be clear. Soon the birds will be chirping. Soon the leaves will be GREEN.
Soon.
