CHOOSE to LOVE Your Senior Pictures!
They go by many names …
Senior Pix
Senior Pics
Senior Photos
Senior Pictures
Senior Portraits
Senior Photographs
… and Senior Fotos
They all refer to the same thing. Each year well over ten thousand students in Metro Detroit flock to chain photography studios that their school district contract for their annual yearbooks. As a result, thousands of students end up sitting in front of mottled backdrops or, worse, behind cheesy 3 foot tall letters that spell S-E-N-I-O-R. The end result is are the same boring portraits as everyone else. Why? Because they’re all using the same lighting, the same backgrounds, the same posing stands and given the same directions like “Tilt your head to the right”, “Lift your chin up”, “Move your hand to your left” and … “Look at the camera”.
Those images are referred to C.P. images … copy – paste … copy – paste … copy – paste. But, you really can’t blame the discounted photography chain can you? They’re often staffed with part-time college students that were given a “Guide Book” that shows them where to place the student, where to put the lights and where to stand when they push the button. It’s all they know.
Unfortunately, many students (and parents) have not realized that Lifestyle Senior Photography has evolved far beyond indoor photography chains and green screens (Yup. Green screens. Just like the weatherman!). In fact, if you are attending a large public school like those throughout Metro Detroit, the options are limitless. Literally! Having to “settle” is a thing of the past. CHOOSE to LOVE your Senior Portraits!
With that said, Seniors fall into one of three groups:
A) Don’t understand they have options because their school dictated to them that they must go to “Studio X”.
B) Realize options may exist but feel they can’t be exercised for a plethora of excuses.
C) Have made a CHOICE to LOVE their lifestyle senior portraits
If you are reading this, you are clearly not in Category A listed above or else you wouldn’t be exploring options.
On the flip side, if you are in Category C, welcome aboard! We are glad you’ve made the CHOICE to LOVE your Senior Portraits! Go ahead and contact us online or call us at 734-776-0497 so we can start planning an extraordinary session with you!
If you fall into Category B, well … you see … the truth is, EVERY Senior has options. If your school has contracted with a specific chain studio for the yearbook headshot, you can still CHOOSE to have your Lifestyle Senior Portraits done elsewhere … outside and on-location. CHOOSE to make a memorable experience, one that celebrates YOU! CHOOSE to LOVE your Senior Portraits!
Paul Manoian Photography senior sessions range from 90 minutes all the way up to 6-8 hours for those looking for the ultimate in lifestyle photography! Regardless of the duration you commission, the goal is always the same: create photography with an edge that captures YOU because we want you to have images you will absolutely LOVE!
The process begins with conversations about YOU. We will discuss what you are interested in, who you are … essentially what makes you YOU. From this we’ll select a location that can help bring your best out and capture memorable photos in a more photojournalistic style starting at only $125!
Best of all, there are never any additional charges for wardrobe changes and there are no maximums to the number of shots we’ll take:
- Unlimited locations as allowed by session time, inclusive of travel time between locations
- Unlimited clothing changes as allowed by the session time
If you made it this far, we’d love to have the opportunity to talk with you. Remember, you have options. You have the option to use your school’s contracted chain yearbook supplier or the option to LOVE your senior portraits and do something that you will remember forever. Ultimately, we hope you choose us since we have been Voted #1 for Best Portrait Photography in all of southeast Michigan. ![]()
