Senior pictures definitely are not what they used to be. It has become quite obvious that Seniors are no longer interested in stuffy indoor studio sessions with cheesy backdrops and lame props and demand a real-deal outdoor on-location session. With so many great locations available in Metro Detroit and southeast Michigan, who wouldn’t want to hit the streets and head outside?!

I recently had the opportunity to work with Kaylee for her senior pictures session. She is a senior at Henry Ford II high School Sterling Heights, MI. I still have some work remaining to finish up her online proof gallery. But I know her friends and family are anxious to see her session. So, I selected some of my favorites so far and included them below as a session sneak peek. The real outdoor “backgrounds” look so much better than a fake studio backdrop – don’t you agree?? If winter sports like snowboarding or downhill skiing are your thing, I offer a limited number of winter senior sessions in the snow each year. Since winter snow sessions depend so heavily on the snow, they must be booked early. If you are bold and daring, this is your opportunity! This has become very popular over the past couple of years as a second session for many students. I book a limited number winter senior sessions a year because they highly depend on the weather cooperating. So, if you are on your school’s ski or snow board team, this is a fantastic way to get some creative an unusual photos!
