Shea, a high school senior from Lake Orion, MI, decided she wanted her senior portraits to be a little different from the rest. She wanted something that would truly capture the vibrant energy of the city and showcase her personality in an urban setting. So, we headed to the heart of Detroit <\/a>for her session\u2014because if you\u2019re going to go bold, you might as well go all the way. And let me tell you, Shea\u2019s downtown Detroit senior portraits<\/a> did not disappoint!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We kicked off the day before most people were even awake, starting at Belle Isle to catch that breathtaking sunrise. There\u2019s nothing quite like the first light breaking over the Detroit River, casting a warm, golden glow across the water and city skyline. The hues were dreamy\u2014soft oranges and pinks that bathed Shea in a magical light, giving her portraits an ethereal, almost otherworldly feel.
