As a Detroit model photographer<\/a>, I have the opportunity to work with large number of established as well as up-and-coming models throughout Metro Detroit and southeast Michigan.\u00a0 From head shots to comp cards (zed cards), I really enjoy helping models branch out and expand their portfolios.\u00a0 Perhaps my favorite part is being able to collaborate with someone else to capture something unique … something that will truly stand out in a model portfolio.<\/p>\n

Most recently, Lexi contacted me about shooting a completely natural light model session in Metro Detroit.\u00a0 I love natural light since it has a way of really folding around the subject.\u00a0 I normally share a little bit of information about my lighting setups for my model photography sessions.\u00a0 However, in case this, it was extremely simple!\u00a0 No speedlites nor strobes were used at all during the session.\u00a0 By scheduling the model photography session at the perfect time of day at this particular location, we were able to do most of the shots without even using a reflector!\u00a0 We used a reflector on two of the shots below … can you guess which two?<\/p>\n

I started to go through Lexi’s proofs and\u00a0 absolutely love the way they turned out!\u00a0 I normally only post a few proofs for my sneak peek blog posts, but quickly found it impossible to do it this time.\u00a0 I selected nine of my favorites so far, but I still have a ton to go through and process.\u00a0 I feel sorry for Lexi because it’s going to be impossible for her to only select a couple for her portfolio!<\/p>\n
