As Detroit fashion photographer<\/a>, I’m regularly asked by magazines to provide photography for one of their upcoming issues.\u00a0 My favorite photo shoots for magazines are always the full editorial shoots that are done on-location like the one in the April 2013 issue of Linger Magazine.\u00a0 This particular fashion photo shoot included 3 models and 9 different styled looks. The best part was it was shot exclusively at Goldfish Tea in Royal Oak, MI. \u00a0If you have never visited Goldfish Tea before, I strongly encourage you to stop by and check them out!\u00a0 They’re located on 4th Street right off of Main Street in downtown Royal Oak.\u00a0 Tell them, “Paul Manoian sent me!<\/em>” \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

All of the incredible clothes for this shoot were provided by Michigan designer, Cynthia LaMaide.\u00a0 Cynthia truly is a\u00a0 “Fiber Artist” and transforms her materials by weaving, knitting, felting and even hand painting them using quality fibers and innovative techniques.\u00a0 They are absolutely stunning!\u00a0 The Fashion Group International in Detroit, MI recognized her with the Best Women’s Fashion Designer award in 2012.<\/p>\n

We started off at HB Salon at the Sommerset Collection in Troy, MI for hair and makeup before heading over to Goldfish Tea. The lighting was somewhat tricky, but the end result speaks volumes for the incredibly talented team of styling and fashion professionals involved in this project along with the help of an experienced fashion photographer.<\/p>\n
