As a fashion and beauty photographer<\/a>, I love it when I have the opportunity to work with talented hair stylists and salons for hair photo shoots.\u00a0 Hair photography<\/em> is really a cross between beauty and model photography with a keen focus on the hair.<\/p>\n

The hair<\/strong> is the main ingredient in the shots I included below.\u00a0 I love the color in the hair from this session.\u00a0 It truly POPs!\u00a0 Although, it may not be immediately obvious, three different colors in the model’s hair!<\/p>\n

I have worked with many of the spas and salons in Metro Detroit and southeast Michigan for the artwork displayed on their walls as well as images that professional stylists have submitted to hair color competitions worldwide like Goldwell Color Zoom.\u00a0 High quality hair photography is one of the best investments any hair salon can make.\u00a0 Think of it this way:\u00a0 Would a salon want to advertise their own work professionally or use canned images provided by the coloring companies that do not represent their own stylists?\u00a0 Using professional hair photography<\/em> from their own in-house creative team spreads the word to a wider audience.<\/p>\n
