Jacob’s senior pictures session in Farmington Hills was the perfect mix of style, energy, and personality. He booked my three-hour Signature Experience Senior Portraits Package, which gave us plenty of time to explore different looks and settings before finishing strong with a cinematic series of tennis senior pictures on the North Farmington High School courts. It was the kind of session that really shows how much variety we can pack into one morning.
The Results Show
We found Paul by a simple google search for a senior photographer near us. After viewing his portfolio I knew the search was over. Paul knows his stuff and the results show! Thank you for capturing special moments in time, we will see you again in a couple more years!
We started with classic portraits surrounded by the warm morning light filtering through the trees. Jacob’s navy dress shirt and patterned tie looked incredible against the soft green backdrop, creating a clean, timeless look that parents always love. As the light shifted, we moved to a more relaxed setting with casual outfits that matched his easygoing personality. The muted fall colors around Farmington Hills added a natural warmth to every frame, perfectly balancing formal and laid-back styles.
The real highlight came when we wrapped up the session on the North Farmington High School tennis courts. Jacob plays for his school’s team, and this was his chance to bring that passion into the spotlight. The late morning sun hit the court just right, creating a bold contrast between the deep blue sky, the bright yellow tennis balls, and his uniform. I love when seniors include something meaningful from their lives in their photos. It turns the session into something more personal and authentic.
For Jacob’s tennis senior pictures, I wanted the shots to feel cinematic, like a scene from a sports film. We captured action moments with his racket mid-swing, the tennis ball frozen in motion, and a few dynamic portraits that showed his focus and intensity. One of my favorite frames is the one of him mid-jump above the net, a moment of pure energy and athleticism that perfectly sums up his drive on the court. Those are the kinds of images that go beyond portraits and start to tell a story.
Jacob also brought his letter jacket for a few portraits, which tied everything together beautifully. The colors and patches told their own story of dedication and accomplishment. Combined with his smile and relaxed confidence, it was the perfect way to close the session.
This sneak peek is just a glimpse of what we created together, but it captures the spirit of the morning perfectly. From polished portraits to powerful tennis shots, Jacob’s session shows just how versatile and personal a senior portrait experience can be.
