As a professional photographer, I shoot a lot of photography sessions with kids. I recently had to opportunity to work with Julie for a family photography session. I had previously photographed her daughter for a portrait session, but this was my first time working directly with her and her other kids.

The weather really looked questionable when we started the session. In fact, the sky was full of solid clouds and everything had an eerie green cast to it. Fortunately, the sky cleared up enough for us to hold a quick session.

This session was a little different in that I captured individual portraits of everyone in addition to a number of family shots. I’m glad we did too because I really love the proofs I’ve seen so far! I still have a lot to review, but wanted to share a few of my favorites as a sneak peek preview.
