Detroit Senior pictures definitely are not what they used to be. It has become quite obvious that Seniors are no longer interested in stuffy indoor studio sessions with cheesy backdrops and lame props and demand a real-deal outdoor on-location session. In fact, Detroit is a great place for senior pictures! From all of the historic locations to the amazing graffiti to the urban decay, you don’t have to look far to find unique backdrops for senior pictures in Detroit. From the incredible brick buildings to traces of original brick roads, downtown Detroit is quickly becoming a favorite hot spot in all of southeast Michigan for one-of-a-kind senior pictures! With so many great locations available in Metro Detroit and southeast Michigan, who wouldn’t want to hit the streets and head outside?!

Erika is a senior at Richmond High School and absolutely loves art! Everything about it. It is clearly her passion. So, we found a great way to center a portion of her session around art and shot it at the Detroit Institute of Arts in … where else … Detroit!
