Detroit Photographer – Detroit Model Photography

As a Detroit photographer, I have the opportunity to work models signed with local and national modeling agencies as well as models trying to establish themselves.  Regardless of their experience, having a professional model portfolio is key to their success.

I recently worked with a talented group of professionals on a “Dark Space” concept photo shoot.

The challenge with this particular shoot was the confined space we used as the location.  Most of the shots were lit using a single Elinchrom soft box simple due to a lack of space.  Even so, with proper positioning, the dark edgy lighting it provided was exactly the look we were going for. With such a simple location and lighting setup, the final result heavily depended on the model to pull off the look and Nicole did a fantastic job!  The final images are definitely what we were going for and I can’t wait to work with this team again!  I really wish we had the time to shoot a full behind the scenes video like the one we did at Motor City Casino.
