Senior Pics, Senior Pictures and Senior Portraits. They are known by a multitude of names; however, one thing remains the same. Each year more Seniors are ditching their school’s contracted yearbook vendor in favor of doing an outdoor, on-location session to that captures them in a natural way to celebrate their senior year. They are CHOOSING to LOVE their senior pictures!
I recently had the opportunity to work with Sarah, a Class of 2015 Senior at Pinckney High School in Pinckney, MI. We selected a great Metro Detroit location for her session and captured some amazing images early in the morning. The sun was still low in the sky and gave us great light for everything we tried. I know her family is extremely anxious to see the proofs from her session, but I still have a little more work to do to finish her private online proof gallery. I selected some of my favorites so far and posted them below as a sneak peek. Please be sure to leave a comment for her below so she can receive free senior pictures from her session! Which one is your favorite?
Fall is a very popular time for senior portraits because of the gorgeous changing color in the trees and ground cover. Unfortunately, it looks like the cold fall temps are here early this year. If you have not scheduled your session year, you should definitely hurry. October is nearly full! More and more seniors are booking second sessions for senior portraits in the winter snow. So, the good news is, if snow boarding and skiing are your thing, I still have a few winter sessions available!
