As a model headshot photographer, pageant headshots are definitely some of my favorites. But, one thing is for certain with pageants, proper makeup application is essential. This is definitely one area where you do not want to do it yourself. You owe it to yourself to work with trained, professional makeup artist that understand photography and the effects of studio photography lighting. Fortunately, some of the best makeup artists (and hair stylists!) in Detroit are part of my Creative Team.

I recently had the opportunity to work with Savannah for new pageant headshots. She is only seven years old, but has already won! But, I do not need to tell you that because the crown and sash in the shots below will give it away! She was fantastic to work with and could pose like a seasoned model doing a fashion photo shoot! It made my job capturing images so much easier! 🙂
