Michigan Indu-Brazilian Cattle Senior Pictures
To say Michigan 4-H State Award Winner, Ciara, loves her prized Indu-Brazilian cattle is an understatement. I have photographed many sessions for senior pictures with horses, but this is my first session for senior pictures with cattle! Let me tell you, Ciara’s Indu-Brazilian cattle are the absolute cutest I have ever seen in person.
The Indo-Brazilian is a zebu type breed developed in Brazil during the early 20th century. By the 1940’s Indo-Brazilian cattle were being imported into the United States and may have contributed to the development of the Brahman. The Indo-Brazilian may be taller and lighter muscled than the Brahman, but their defining feature is definitely their extremely large, pendulous ears, the largest ears of any cattle breeds.
I selected some of my favorite images from Ciara’s session and included them below as a sneak peek. Which one is your favorite? Please be sure to leave her a comment below!
If you are interested if scheduling a session for senior pictures with horses, cattle, sheep, goats, or any other farm animal, I would love to work with you! Please feel free to contact me online or call 313-883-9500 to discuss location ideas and availability. I can’t wait to work with you!
