Solace is officially a Warrior alum! 🎓 I had the absolute privilege of photographing her graduation pictures on the campus of Wayne State University in Detroit as she celebrated earning her Master’s degree in Social Work — a monumental achievement that deserves to be celebrated and remembered in style.
Of course, no WSU graduation session would be complete without stops at two of the university’s most iconic locations: the massive green-and-gold Warrior Shield and the historic Old Main building. These spots offer the perfect visual punch — a mix of modern school pride and timeless campus architecture — and they made an ideal backdrop for Solace’s cap and gown portraits.
She looked incredible in her gown, but even more so, you could see the determination and passion that helped her get to this moment. A degree in social work is more than just a title — it’s a commitment to making the world a better, more just place. And Solace? She’s absolutely going to do that. There’s no doubt in my mind that she’s walking into this next chapter with both purpose and compassion.
This session is a great reminder of just how special it is to capture graduation pictures at your own campus. These aren’t just photos — they’re milestones frozen in time. They reflect the hard work, the long nights, and the personal growth that goes into earning that degree. If you’re graduating from Wayne State soon and want to celebrate everything you’ve accomplished, this is your sign to make it happen.
