Senior year is here for Devin, a senior at Saline High School, and he knew right away where he wanted his session to take place: downtown Ann Arbor. It is one of the most popular choices for seniors who want a mix of urban energy and classic backdrops, and Devin’s gallery is a perfect example of why.

When parents reach out about senior portraits, one of the first questions I often hear is, “Where should we go?” Ann Arbor is always at the top of the list for variety and personality. Between historic architecture, colorful alleys, and vibrant streets, you get a little bit of everything. It is why I created a dedicated Ann Arbor Senior Pictures page so families can see just how many options are available.

Devin came ready with a mix of outfits that worked perfectly with Ann Arbor’s different spots. We started with sharp, classic looks around the Law Quad, which always adds an incredible backdrop of stone arches and ivy-lined walkways. From there, we headed down the streets of downtown where the State Theatre sign and storefronts captured that unmistakable Ann Arbor vibe. Nickels Arcade was another must-stop. It is timeless and elegant, and it gave us a set of portraits with a polished feel that parents always love.

Of course, no session in Ann Arbor would be complete without some edge. Devin’s casual style worked perfectly in Graffiti Alley, where bold colors and street art contrasted with his clean, relaxed look. The mix of architecture, streets, and murals gave him a versatile set of portraits that reflect both his personality and the spirit of Ann Arbor.
