Some seniors come into their session with a clear vision, and Dylan was one of them. A senior at South Lyon East High School, he knew exactly what he wanted for his senior pictures: something creative, musical, and full of personality. We planned a 3-hour Senior Portraits Package in Ann Arbor that gave him the perfect mix of time and flexibility to make it all happen.

We started during the morning blue hour, when the city is quiet and the light is deep and cinematic. Dylan brought along multiple guitars and saxophones, each one representing a piece of his artistic journey. The cool tones of early morning gave his portraits a moody, creative energy that fit perfectly with his love for music.

As the session moved into the golden hour, the light warmed up and gave us a completely different look. The glow of sunrise softened the city around us, adding warmth and depth to his portraits. Between the instruments, the changing light, and Dylan’s relaxed confidence, the images came together beautifully.

Music isn’t just a hobby for Dylan. It’s his future. He plans to pursue a BFA in Performing Arts at the University of Michigan, and it shows in every frame. His session was a reflection of where he’s been and where he’s headed, with each shot capturing both talent and drive.

Dylan’s session is a perfect reminder that senior pictures should tell your story. Whether that means including your passions, your favorite locations, or the city where you feel most inspired, it’s about creating images that feel like you.
