Stony Creek gave us everything we needed.

We used the stone steps and walls for a little texture, then moved into the wooded areas and along the water for a softer, more natural look. The changing backgrounds gave us plenty of variety while still keeping the session easy and cohesive.

Ava Rose also brought a bouquet that had been planned ahead of time. It was a small detail, but it worked really well with the outdoor setting and added a little extra color without taking over the photos.

That is one of the reasons I like simple sessions. When you are not trying to squeeze in too many ideas, the little details have more room to matter.
