Some senior picture sessions are all about high energy and big concepts. Others are more about keeping things simple, relaxed, and authentic. Benjamin is a senior at Utica Academy of International Studies in Sterling Heights, MI, and he booked the Cum Laude senior pictures package, which includes a 2-hour session. We started the session around some of Detroit’s most recognizable architecture, including the Detroit Institute of Arts. The clean stonework, arches, and classic design gave the session a timeless feel right away. The bright spring colors, skyline views, and lake backdrop added a completely different look to the session and helped balance the urban feel from earlier in the day. Benjamin also changed into a blue suit later in the session, which added another layer of variety to the gallery.
