I love photographing seniors for their senior pictures with horses. It’s often a time when I can explore new ideas and concepts that I can’t do during “normal” senior portrait sessions … and the results are always amazing!
I most recently had the opportunity to work with Amanda and her horse Cracker during a session for her senior portraits in Northville, Michigan. We met very late in the day and the light was incredible the way in came through the trees. I’m sure her horse has never looked better! I’ve been going through her proofs and they’re awesome to say the least; I really had a hard time selecting only a couple for her sneak peek blog post!
If you are a Class of 2011 Senior and are interested in scheduling a session for your senior pictures with horses, please contact me online or call me at 313-883-9500. I can’t wait to work with you!

What a great idea to have senior pics that are reflective of an activity that the student is passionate about! I like Amanda’s “solo” shot to let the focus be on her in regard to the sport, but a photo that strongly speaks to the bond she has with her horse I think would be pretty impactful (ok, it might be hard to get the horse to express it’s “feelings” at the same time Amanda is striking the right kind of pose 😉 Nice!

The riding pic (second one) is my favorite. I always liked how photographers can capture blur in some spots and have it crystal clear in others.

I cannot believe that my little cousin is graduating. I’m with Trina; I really like the picture of Amanda sitting down with the hay, although, I like the one where Cracker is holding his front leg up like he’s ready to show off his moves! Great job on the photography Paul!
