As a Detroit photographer, I regularly work with seniors from all over Metro Detroit and Southeast Michigan. With so many incredible locations available, there aren’t any reasons to settle for an indoor chain-studio session! Choose to LOVE your senior pictures!
For Joe’s senior pictures, we headed to downtown Detroit and straight over to the Michigan Central Station. Michigan Central Station is also known as Michigan Central Depot or MCS. The construction was completed 1913 for the Michigan Central Railroad and was Detroit’s passenger rail service depot up until 1988 for Amtrak. At the time it was built, it was the tallest train station in the world. Now, it is one of the county’s best know urban decay locations and has been featured in a number of movies including Transformers.
I am still going through Joe’s proofs, but posted a few of my favorites so far below as a sneak peek from his session. Check them out and be sure to leave a comment for him!
If you are a Metro Detroit high school senior in the Class of 2012 and still haven’t scheduled your senior portraits session yet, it’s not too late. There is still time. For the bold and daring, I offer winter senior portrait sessions in the snow. If that sounds like something you want to try, you do need to hurry since spots are extremely limited! I only book ten senior pictures sessions in the snow each year since it is so highly dependent on the weather. So, it is extremely important to be on the weather waiting list and be ready to go! While most students do not make the winter senior pictures their only session, it makes a fantastic second session. My winter senior picture snow sessions are becoming increasingly popular with students on the school’s ski and snow board teams.
