Senior pictures. Senior Portraits. Seniors Photos. They may go by many names, but one thing is for certain. More and more seniors are telling the senior pictures photography studio chain selected by their school to take a hike in favor of an incredible outdoor lifestyle session and Sydney’s senior pictures session is an excellent example of why!

Sydney is one of our Class of 2014 Ambassadors at Grosse Pointe North High School and I absolutely love her senior portraits! While I would normally reschedule sessions on days over 90 degrees, Sydney already had her hair and makeup done so we moved forward with the session regardless of the heat. For her session, we spent over 2 hours together jumping from shady spot to shady spot in an attempt to beat the heat. She definitely made use of her huge sun hat trying to stay cool! We shot her entire session using only natural light and only pulled out a diffuser one time to help eliminate a couple of harsh sun spots.

To say I love Sydney’s senior pictures is a complete understatement! I selected a number of my favorites and included them below as a sneak peek so all of her friends and family could check them out.
