What would an Ann arbor senior pictures session be without a visit to the grand campus of The University of Michigan!
The University was founded in Detroit in 1817 as the University of Michigania. The school moved westward to Ann Arbor in 1837 at a time when the town was only 13 years old! In 1841, when the first classes were taught, The University of Michigan only had two professors and seven students. Now, U of M has three campuses and more than 59,000 students — 1,500 student organizations — 616 major buildings — more than 12 million library volumes — and one great fight song. ~umich.edu
The University of Michigan campus is my favorite Ann Arbor location for senior pictures. There is no doubt about it! The Law Quad was been under wraps for the past year while they worked on cleaning and restoring the stone work. Now that it is open to the public, we made visit to it once again for incredible stonework and columns. They provide a gorgeous backdrop for senior portraits! Of course, there are a lot of other places to take senior pictures in Ann Arbor as well.
I’ve been going through the proofs from Gurjeet’s session and the Law Quad and absolutely love the way they are turning out! I still have a lot of work to do before his online proof gallery ready, so I selected some of my favorites so far to share as a sneak peek. Please sure to leave him a comment below – which one is your favorite?
