It does not make a difference what you call them – high school seniors are no longer satisfied with a stuffy indoor “portrait session” with their school’s contracted yearbook vendor. With all of the beautiful outdoor locations available in Michigan, why would they be? I recently had the opportunity to with with Tessa, a Class of 2016 Senior at North Farmington High School in Farmington Hills, MI. We selected a beautiful location covered in colorful flowers for her session. I always try to make each session unique in some way even if I shoot at a location that I’ve used before. For Tessa’s session, we wanted shots that had a model flare. At 5′ 11″ tall, I’d say she’s a natural! The images from her session are absolutely amazing!

I still have a lot of work to do to finish her online proof gallery, but I absolutely love the images I have reviewed so far!
