Senior pictures. Senior photos. Senior pics. It really doesn’t make a difference what you call them these days because one thing is the same – high school seniors no longer want a stuffy indoor “portrait session” with their school’s contracted yearbook vendor. There really isn’t any wondering why, either! Why would they be with all of the incredibly beautiful outdoor locations available in Michigan?! More and more graduating seniors are deciding to schedule an outdoor lifestyle senior portrait session each year. CHOOSE to LOVE your senior pictures!

I recently had the opportunity to work with twins, Cassie and Cameron, for their senior portraits session. They are seniors at Hartland High School. We used a great Metro Detroit location early in the morning to take advantage of the glowing sun coming in through in the trees as it rose in the horizon. Since she is her school’s lacrosse team, we worked a few lacrosse senior pictures in for extra measure! I definitely do not want to keep either them waiting any longer than necessary to view their proofs, so I selected some of my favorite images with Cassie and included them below as a sneak peek.
