Theatre acting headshots sessions are definitely some of my favorites! Stage actors have such an easy time in front of a camera that great images are all but guaranteed!
In case you weren’t already aware, some of the best theatre talent is right here in Detroit which helps explain why Wayne State University has an amazing Theatre & Dance program!
I recently had the opportunity to work with Nigel new a new headshot. He is a senior at Wayne State University in their Bachelor of Fine Arts program and has performed on stage in multiple shows including Shakespeare’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” as well as the upcoming musical “Sister Act” at the Bonstelle theater.
If you are in the Detroit area and ready for updated theatre acting headshots, I would love the opportunity to work with you, too! Please feel free to use the form below to contact me online or call me at 313-883-9500 for a free head shot consultation and to discuss availability.

Musical Theatre Headshots Tip: Personality. Personality. Personality. Your headshot and character storyboard must capture your personality and the person behind the eyes. The image must speak to the viewer and ooze with who you are. This is especially true for stage and musical theatre actors. Create a character storyboard to show the “characters” within you!
It was fun working with Paul on my head headshots! He allowed me to be me and captured so many great moments. My teacher Jill Dion told me about Paul in a meeting we were having and that day I booked a session with him. I payed a lot of attention to the angles Paul would suggest for a great shot and thought it may have felt uncomfortable, but it came out as a good shot! Just because it’s uncomfortable doesn’t mean it isn’t good for you! Thank you Paul!
