Downtown Detroit senior portraits sessions have become increasingly popular – and for good reason! From beaches to graffiti to rooftops to skylines, Detroit has it all! That’s why Amelia, a senior at Dakota High School in Macomb, MI, knew she wanted to use Detroit as the backdrop for her recent senior portraits session.
The weather did not want to cooperate and use to reschedule multiple times this spring. But, we finally got a break from the rain, wind, and snow and headed out to capture Amelia’s senior year in downtown Detroit. It may have been incredibly cold and sunny, but you wouldn’t know it by the amazing images we captured.
I still have a LOT of work to complete Amelia’s online proof gallery, but I know her friends and family are anxious to see the images. I selected some of my favorites and included them as a sneak peek below. I normally only include 4-6 images in sneak peeks, but I seriously had a difficult time narrowing the down so I went overboard! Which one is your favorite? Please be sure to leave a comment below and let her know so she can receive some free prints from her session!
If you are interested if scheduling a session for senior pictures in Detroit or southeast Michigan, I would love to work with you! Please feel free to contact me online or call 313-883-9500 to discuss location ideas and availability. I can’t wait to work with you!

All of these photos of Amelia are FABULOUS! I can see where you had difficulty narrowing it down as I did also. If I had to choose one as my absolute favorite it would be the graffiti headshot.
Awesome work Paul. Congratulations Amelia.
