Justin is a senior at Jackson High School, and when his family reached out, they knew they wanted a session that felt relaxed and genuine. Ann Arbor was the perfect match. The city gave us bright colors, clean architectural lines, and plenty of space for Justin and his dog to explore.

We started downtown for a simple and easy warmup. Justin kept things natural right away, and the casual streets of Ann Arbor gave him a setting that matched his easygoing personality. His Shinedown hoodie added a bit of personal style, which brought a real sense of who he is during this final year of high school.

Next, we moved into the graffiti alley for a few colorful portraits. The energy of this spot works well for seniors who want something fun without going over the top. Justin stayed relaxed through it all, and his dog joined in for a few portraits that will always stand out in his gallery. Including pets in senior pictures adds personality and gives families something they will treasure long after graduation.

We also wanted softer tones, so we headed toward the open paths and late fall color near campus. Even though the season was starting to fade, Ann Arbor held onto enough warm leaves to help create a clean, seasonal look. From there, we walked over to the Law Quad for a classic finish. The stone walls, arches, and walkways framed Justin perfectly and gave him a strong set of portraits that parents always love.
