“Old barns.”
That was the two word response I got when I asked Kaitlyn what she wanted to use as the location and background for her senior pictures session last week. I’m happy to say that we did that and a whole lot more!
I always try to make each session unique in some way even if I shoot at a location that I’ve used before. I do this to help ensure that each student’s photos are unique in some way. That approach couldn’t have turned out better for Kaitlyn!
We used an amazing barn for the session that had an incredible amount of character! We were able to get some early morning shots that allowed the sunlight to stream in through cracks between the individual boards. I absolutely love the shot we grabbed of her hanging on the old rope swing and the shots with the sunlight streaming in through the dust in the air are absolutely incredible. They make her session unique.. Nobody else has them because nobody else was there on that particular day with the sun at that angle!
I know her entire family is anxious to see her proofs, so I selected some of my favorites so far and included them below as a sneak peek. Please be sure to check them out and leave a comment below.
If you still haven’t booked a session for your senior portraits, please contact me online or call 313-883-9500 for a free consultation. I’d love to work with you! Even though August is booked solid, I still have some openings in September and October.
