I have the opportunity to work with graduating seniors throughout Metro Detroit for their senior pictures. My favorite sessions are always the ones where the student has a clear picture in their head of what they want for the session. It allows me to put on my Creative Director hat and shift my focus to capturing their vision how THEY see it. Most recently, I had the opportunity to work with Sam from Northville High School to capture him on the pitcher’s mound!
I became very excited about the idea of doing a Baseball shoot for senior pictures. Not because it was simply “baseball”, but because we had a plan to contact the team’s coach for access to the field and get some action shots of him on the pitcher’s mound! NOTE: Always get permission from the school if you plan to access one of the sports fields if they are normally locked!
We spent over an hour on the baseball field and in the dugout to capture some amazing images. Wow! I’ve only started going through the images, but they are already blowing mind. I absolutely love the shots capturing him in motion through a full throw with the ball caught in mid air!
I am still going through the proofs, but I know Sam and his family are very anxious to see them! I had a nearly impossible task of selecting just a few for a sneak peek blog post and pined away to get it down to eight! Did I mention I love his shots! Go ahead a leave a comment below and let him know what you think!!
If you still have not scheduled your session , don’t worry. There is still time. If would like additional information on scheduling a session, please contact me online or call 313-883-9500. I can’t wait to work with you!

I love the 2nd pic (close up of Sam with baseball hat on). I also like the 4th pic with the Northville background. Finally , I like the pic of Sam with his plaid shirt on. Handsome! I’d like to see one with him smiling too!
