Senior pictures with fall colors always produce great images and my recent session from Nithika was no exception! Nithika’s mom, Laxmi, specifically requested senior pictures with fall colors so we picked one of the best locations in southeast Michigan and hit the leaves early in the morning. Her jacquard saree looked stunning in the glow of the morning sunlight. Traditional Indian clothing is so amazingly beautiful!
I know Nithika’s friends and family to see the images from her session, so I selected some of my favorite images from and included them below as a sneak peak. I absolutely love the daylight glow we captured coming through the trees. How about you? Which image is your favorite? Be sure to leave a comment below and let her know so she can receive free prints from her session to share!
Fall colors for senior pictures are nearly impossible to plan since there are so many factors that come into play. Everything from the air temperature to the amount of rain during the summer months to the mineral content of the soil can drastically impact the colors. Even so, “peak color” usually only lasts two to three weeks in Michigan. Even then, one rain or wind storm can blow them to the ground overnight. That’s why it is so important to schedule sessions for senior pictures with fall colors early in the year. You can’t wait until the colors actually arrive since the schedule is almost guaranteed to be booked solid by then!
