This has been a fantastic year for senior pictures all over Michigan! With so much variety, amazing architecture and the amazing outdoors, there really is no wondering why! Michigan is truly a great state. One thing is for sure though, across the entire state, more and more students are telling their school’s contracted yearbook vendor to take a hike in favor of lifestyle senior photos sessions that scream with personality and ooze with style.

I recently had the privilege to work with Lauren for her senior pictures in Traverse City. She is a senior at Traverse City Central High School and knew exactly what she wanted for her session – amazing photos that captured her two loves – rowing and violin. So, we headed out at 6:30am to capture the mist on the lake and warm glow of the sunrise to use them to our advantage for some amazing images!

I know Lauren and her family and friends are very anxious to see the images from her session but I still have a lot of work ahead to finish up their online proof gallery. With so many great shots, I simply had to post some as a sneak peek so they can share them! So, I selected some of my favorites so far and included them below. Which one is your favorite?
