I work with a lot of graduating seniors each year for their senior pictures and my favorite sessions are always those where the Senior has a clear vision of what they want to incorporate into their photo shoot. Whether it is horses, sports or ballet, having a clear vision of your style is key to having a photo shoot as unique as you are. That’s the main reason why more and more seniors are telling their school’s contracted yearbook vendor to take a hike in favor of an outdoor, lifestyle session!

Football senior pictures? Baseball senior pictures? Yes! That is exactly what my recent senior portraits session with Preston from Churchill High School in Livonia, MI included. Sports are a huge part of Preston’s life, so we definitely focused on that during the session. But, we didn’t let that stop us from getting some GREAT lifestyle pictures along the way. I sat down intending to go through proofs looking for a couple of “good ones” to blog and couldn’t narrow it down. So, I decided to use a bunch of them and post a sneak peek blog post for his family and friends early!
