Maternity portraits are definitely one of my favorite session types as a professional photographer. Nothing can compare to the love and hope that is represented with each pregnancy portrait session.
I have worked with a lot of couples for their maternity session and have found the best results come when the pregnancy session is held in their own home. On-location maternity photography sessions definitely seem to provide the mother with the most comfortable setting possible. Besides, we all know that nobody is happy if mom isn’t happy, right? 🙂
