As Detroit fashion photographer, I’m regularly asked to do photo shoots for a variety of magazines and other publications. Sometimes they are “a day in the life” type editorials and other times, like the most recent issue of My Metro You magazine, they are simple studio photo shoots.

The lighting and backdrop may have been simple, but the wardrobe was nothing short of outstanding. Lace is on trend this year and the dresses from Mariposa’s in Clinton Township, MI were nothing short of amazing. Mariposa’s is a unique east-side store where vintage and model come together for fashionistas wanting to make a statement with their wardrobe collection. If you haven’t visited them before, I strongly encourage you to stop by and check them out! Tell them, “Paul Manoian sent me!” 🙂

This was a fun shoot and the team was able to put together 11 different looks in a little over 2 1/2 hours! It just goes to show what a talented and dedicated team of fashion professionals can do with the help of an experienced fashion photographer.
