It’s pure and simple – I love photographing kids. My recent session with Olivia and Jacob (and Banjo!) was no exception! They were absolutely wonderful for the session and I love the character that comes through in each of their images. Their mom wanted to do a session at their home since it was very difficult to get everyone’s schedule to line up. So, that’s exactly what we did. This truly was a “lifestyle portrait session.” No studio strobes. No props. We kept everything very basic and exclusively used natural light for all of the shots.

I still have ton of work to do to finish going through the images and get them ready for their online proof gallery, but I wanted to post some as a sneak peek be

We’re now half way through September – if you haven’t scheduled a family portrait session for this year’s holiday cards. Don’t panic. Even though the able 2013 calendar is filling up, there are still available dates in October and November to schedule a family or kids portrait session.
