As a Michigan senior pictures photographer, I love being able to schedule sessions throughout the year to take full advantage of the changing seasons. This is great because more and more people are schedule multiple sessions for their senior pictures wanting completely different settings. I recently did two sessions for Alyssa. The first one, a gritty session done in the heart of downtown Detroit featuring urban decay and graffiti. The second one, specifically done for her mom, was much softer and featured nature and fall colors. We were even able to work in some color flag corp shots!

Senior pictures definitely are not what they used to be. With all of the incredible outdoor Michigan locations, it is beyond me why so many people settle for a studio session sitting on a stool. Graduating seniors now have a choice on what they want for their senior portraits. More of more students choosing to love their senior portraits with an outdoor, on-location lifestyle senior session. They are realizing that Lifestyle Senior Photography has evolved far beyond what studio props and “green screens”. The options are limitless!
