As a Detroit maternity photographer, I love shooting outdoor on-location maternity sessions across the state like this beach maternity session. But, not everyone is comfortable doing a maternity session outside. But, even when my clients would prefer the privacy of a studio session, that doesn’t mean you still can’t capture beautiful images.

Most recently, I had the opportunity to work with a beautiful expecting mom for a studio maternity portrait session. We kept things simple and only used white and black backdrops for the session. Even so, the images turned out great! The images with the black backdrop are my favorites since the beautiful muse shines as a model in them! I just started going through the proofs from the session and posted some of my favorites below as a small glimpse into the session. I really had a difficult time trying to narrow down the incredible proofs for her sneak peek blog post. I narrowed it down to these because I felt they really captured the beauty and joy of pregnancy. I absolutely love the way they turned out!
