It’s pure and simple – I love photographing kids. As a professional photographer in the Detroit, Michigan area, I’ve had the opportunity to work with a lot of wonderful families. Case in point, I recently had the honor of photographing Hannah and Lillian. My recent session with them was no exception! They were absolutely wonderful for the session and I love the character that comes through in each of their images. Their mom said, “I guess what I am looking for is best described as beautiful old Detroit architecture. I love old columns, arches, balconies, carved wood, brick, etc.”

As anyone in Metro Detroit can tell you, fall in Michigan can be really touch and go. Fortunately, our session was held on one of the nicest days of the week and the sun was shining and the ground was dry. So, we headed out to an iconic downtown Detroit location that afforded us some fantastic indoor and outdoor spots for photos!
