Since it began in the 1800s, Eastern Market has gradually become a cornerstone, nourishing its residents by providing fresh and nutritious food throughout Southeastern Michigan. In more recent years, Eastern Market Partnership has built an infrastructure around the market to support our unwavering mission to enrich Detroit—nutritionally, culturally and economically.

Eastern Market is also one of the most colorful areas is all of Detroit with huge graffiti murals created by professional rattle can artists. They are everywhere! That’s why Jill selected that area as the location for family portraits in Detroit!

We spent time driving and walking from graffiti mural to mural and captured a number of family portraits with each more colorful than the one before it. To say their images pop with color is a complete understatement! They will surely bring a huge pop of color to the walls in their home.
