This has been an absolutely crazy year for weather. From the record-breaking snowfall to chilly summer days, it’s been very difficult to predict warm sunny days for outdoor portrait sessions. Such was the case for Sabine and Lauren’s photo session. We decided to go for it even though it poured and hailed (Yes, there was hail falling on my back porch!) the afternoon and evening before.
They are both avid swimmers, but the beach was a muddy mess. So, we hit the woods and captured some great images together with the “green” trees. I put “green” in quotes because I think there might actually be some fall “yellow” in some of the pictures. Whaaaaaaat?! It’s still July! Why are trees already changing color?!
I know their mom is anxious to share the images with friends and family, so I selected some of my favorites from their session and included them below. I absolutely low the way they turned out! Even though it was cold and windy, both girls did a great job. It is a good thing you can’t see the goose bumps in the pictures! Which one is your favorite? Please be sure to leave them a comment below so they can receive some free prints from their session!
If you would like information about scheduling a session, please feel free to contact me online or call 313-883-9500. I would love the opportunity to work with you! Fall colors usually peak during the middle two weeks of October, but I suspect it will be earlier than usual this year. So, call early to book for Fall! The prime season is definitely going to be short this year.
